Closing Time
Turned on the TV in time to catch the National Swimmers sing Closing Time. It probably sounds better there than it does over the telly.
Another leap year. Didn’t the time just fly by?
Fireworks!
Always sneaks up on you when you don’t expect it. By the time I ran in, got my tripod and the teleconverter lens, the fireworks ended. Still, I managed a few shaky shots.

Logitech® MOMO® Racing Wheel
Well, that and the Colin McRae Rally 3.
My brother got us the wheel for Christmas. I love it – I named it Momo. It’s better than driving a real car, since I get to crash it all over.

We had some problems getting used to the steering to begin with, it was really light, and we hadn’t found the control function to return the wheel to the center after a turn. So we kept crashing up the cars all over walls, signs, trees – everything in the way. But we’re getting better.
Also, we found a bunch of these key unlock codes – so we have more cars to choose from, as well as a jet fighter (KF likes that), a hovercraft (750bhp apparently!), a baja buggy and a tank! It was funny.
The year ahead
Have a fantastic year ahead – it should be good still, since there will be the final installment of Lord of the Rings on DVD towards the end of the year. Yes, I’m waiting for the extended platinum edition!
