Johnny Depp won the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award for Best Lead Film Actor, pipping the likes of Bill Murray and Sean Penn. While I really liked Bill Murray in Lost in Translation – he really did seem that jaded anyway, so that doesn’t really count as acting, does it? At least Johnny Depp had an accent.

Well, Johnny is up against Ben Kingsley, Jude Law (who looks so mean, he’s ugly), Bill Murray and Sean Penn again come Oscar time. I hope he’ll win it, just for the fun of it, but I think Bill Murray will get it.
