You know life is good
When you walk to Muji and it’s offering a 10% discount storewide (except for food). Lovely.

When you look in the mirror and your hair’s still there. Yeah and maybe your teeth.

When your brother buys you dinner in an attempt to thank you for helping to distract his kids (AKA babysit).

When you get to play with the kids, and then go home when you’re sick of it.

When mp3 players can easily put your song of the day on repeat.

When you get into work at 11am, go to lunch at 11.30am, meet your friend and he buys you lunch, get back at 2.30pm, leave again at 3pm to go to the arcade, then get back at 4pm to start real work.
This is a hypothetical situation – any similarities to any persons living or dead – is purely coincidental.

When there’s a pile of books and dvds just waiting to be watched, and it’s the weekend.

When you hear Sting and The Police.

When you also hear Billy Joel.

When there’s still a couple bucks left in your bank account at the end of the month.

When you put your Nikes on.

When you breathe in the first whiffs of green oolong tea being prepared.

When it rains and you have an umbrella.

When you get to the bottom of the escalator, and the train stops right in front of you. Especially when you’re running late.

When you no longer have to flip a dictionary to look words up.

When your friends are all happy again.
