Bad case of loving you
It’s the new Y! Messenger Beta. I love the Launchcast tab, and not having to open another browser window just to get my music. Lovely. Now Semagic just needs a plugin to detect music playing in my messenger window, in addition to detecting it from a media player. I like having my favourite tunes sneak up on me, as opposed to popping a CD and setting a song on repeat. I think that’s what it means to have your own radio station.

Did I mention the male avatars look better than the girl ones?

The local hobbies: Eating, Shopping
Did that today with LX. We had lunch at a restaurant owned by a buddy of VS’s. It was featured on Channel U the night before, and LX was so impressed with the owner’s command of Mandarin she had to go take a look. I had my doubts about lunch there, but it turned out ok.

Then we went shopping around Raffles City and Citilink Mall. I bought an overcoat from Esprit for when I visit those temperate climates – I’ve been relying on a gray sweatshirt and the free office fleece but I think it’s time to move on. And I got a new pair of sneakers from Ozoc. Need to stay off the shopping now.

That felt good – kind of just like old times. Talking about similar things, doing the same things.

The actor who plays Tim, Martin Freeman – shares my birthday. Along with Pink, Peter Sellers, Antonin Dvorak, Patsy Cline and Aimee Mann. I always knew he was a bright one.

Did I mention I love my Launchcast station? If you don’t have one, spend the time and get it set up. It’s so worth it. I think it’s one of the better acquisitions Y!’s made ever.
