I will be the pattern of all patience; I will say nothing.

I’ve had a down week. Maybe two. Maybe a month. I don’t know when it started to go downhill, but I think it hit rock bottom yesterday.

I am more upset over the death of my cat than I was at the death of a relative. I guess I really am what I think I am.

I thought I’d try to stop the downward spiral by hanging out with my friends. This Christmas I wanted to meet up with Su and Joce. I’ve not seen Su’s kid for a year and a half, and I’ve not seen Joce’s daughter since she was born. But it didn’t work out. I even ordered a cake to be delivered, but had to cancel. So I was kinda bummed at not having my AwfullyChocolate cake. On impulse, I walked over to Republic Plaza and bought myself one. Now that it’s at home, I feel tons better, now I just have to finish it. There’s something about Chocolate + Banana that’s oddly appealing.

Chocolate isn’t mixable with just ANY fruit, you know.

Chocolate + Banana = good.
Chocolate + Orange = better.
Chocolate + Cherries = depends.
Chocolate + Grapes = gross.
Chocolate + Durian = please don’t try it, lilmurmurs.
