it’s beginning to look a lot like winter!

It’s freezing!!!
It’s been raining, snowing (not here, but up in the Santa Cruz Mountains and all) and hailing! It’s weird driving through hail, because it went from “splat splat splat” on my car to “plink plink plink”.
Tomorrow morning, there’s a “hard freeze” waiting for us. I don’t know if it’s any better than a “soft freeze”, though admittedly a soft freeze sounds more like frozen yogurt, but wth is a hard freeze? Yeah, it’s going to be *really* cold. I get it. I’ll bring the plants in.
We had a good weekend, we hung out with Andy at his year end party, won a couple of (made in China) lightsabres and tried like mad to climb a ladder to win a huge toy. The ladder is tethered on both ends by a little swivel thingey making the balancing act some sort of superhuman feat. I banged up both of my knees in my three attempts, but no big toy. KF and his fancy marksmanship won me a big walrus, though.
Was sick all day Sunday, with stomach pains that made it uncomfortable to even sleep. But I slept it off anyway.
Anyway. Looking forward to a slight warm up later in the week.
