A little each day

I’ve decided, that from now, I’m going to find something to be positive about each day. It’s not that I’m super depressed or anything. But I’m stepping up and looking inward like a good Asian. Our values structure prioritises it and now finally, I appreciate it.
It’s a good day today. It’s overcast, and threatening to rain. The air is heavy, not just with anticipation. Rain is good. We need it. My lawn needs it. And it’s not really cold yet. This reminds me of home, except that at home, it would’ve thundered and lightninged and drenched the streets with dramatic flair by now. Over here rain is a pensive affair.
I like being reminded of home. Perhaps one day this will feel like home.
